Description
A small solitary or loosely colonial cup coral with no symbiotic algae. It is found in shaded crevices and caves. It is told apart from related species only by close examination of the skeleton.

Recorded from the Maldives: museum specimens (n=5). Only one kind of evidence was found, so it is listed as possibly present.
